Patients and Visitors
Refreshments - The Academy has limited refreshment facilities on site however a vending machine containing chocolate, crisps and cold drinks. There is also a hot drinks machine available in reception which dispenses tea, coffee and hot chocolate which accepts £1 coins.
Parking - There are marked car parking spaces available specifically for patients at the front of the building. There are also plenty of disabled spaces if required. Please ensure you bring change as parking charges do apply.
Waiting Area - The Academy has only a small waiting area so when attending your appointment you are advised not to bring lots of family and friends.
Ultrasound - As part of the Peninsula Radiology Academy training scheme our qualified doctors currently scan Ultrasound patients on behalf of Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust. However no appointments are booked through the Academy itself and if you require an Ultrasound scan you must access this service through your GP Surgery. PET/CT - A mobile scanner parks on the Academy grounds two days a week to facilitate PET/CT scans. However no appointments are booked through the Academy itself and if you require a PET/CT scan you must access this service through your GP Surgery.
