Facilities for Hire

Conference Room

 

With capacity for 30 delegates, PC, wall-mounted projector, whiteboards and flipchart, this large and impressive room is an ideal location for board meetings, conferences and corporate presentations. Alternatively the room can be prepared for small group work or as a breakout room.

 

Training Room

 

This room is a smaller version of the Conference Room with capacity for 25 people, including whiteboards, flipchart, PC and projector. This room now has washable flooring and sink installed for multi-purpose use.

 

IT Suite

 
There are 2 IT suites available for hire, 1 with 15 PCs and a second with 9 PCs with access to the internet. Photocopy and scanning services are also available. A projector is available on request.

 

Seminar Room 1

 
With seating for up to 25 delegates the seminar room has video conferencing facilities as well as state of the art audiovisual equipment including PC, DVD player, video player and projection kit. The air-conditioned seminar room provides an exceptional environment for seminars, presentations, training and group work.

 

Seminar Room 2

This room seats 30 and has a full range of audiovisual equipment. There are also blackout blinds in each of the seminar rooms to enable clear viewing of images for teaching and diagnostic purposes. The air-conditioned seminar room provides an exceptional environment for seminars, presentations, training and group work.

 

Lecture Theatre

 

This is a modern, comfortable air-conditioned 104-seat lecture theatre with facilities for disabled delegates. It benefits from audio-visual linking facilities to enable distance teaching.

 

Ultrasound

 
Aplio and Famio ultrasound equipment is available in the Academy’s ultrasound suite with adjoining prepartion room.

 

Offices

 
 
There are 4 offices available, each with a PC and printer. These provide excellent individual work areas or to hold small meetings. These offices are frequently used to hold interviews.

 

Mobile Pad

 
 

This pad is suitable for a mobile healthcare unit. The concrete area spans roughly 9 by 13 metres. There is access to water, electrics and IT.

 

Audience Response Software

 
The voting system allows you to capture your audiences’ opinions and instantly translate them into meaningful data. The Academy has 50 handsets, each is unique and so a complete audit trail of which keys have been pressed and by which handset is available, if required. Communications are made via a high-speed radio connection. PowerQ is fully integrated with Microsoft PowerPoint.
