Skills Training Centre

The Skills Training Centre was officially opened in June 2009 to provide facilities for Peninsula based surgical and medical training activities. The Skills Training Centre forms part of the Peninsula Radiology Academy building at Plymouth International Medical and Technology Park. This is a purpose built facility constructed in 2006, providing modern high quality accommodation for training use including excellent IT presentation aides in situ in teaching areas.

The facilities for the Skills Training Centre include use of :

● 100 Seat Lecture Theatre

● Large Conference Room

● Wet Lab Classroom

All the above have ceiling mounted linked IT based projectors.

● Separate preparation room and facilities including fridge and dishwasher

● Individual Offices with networked IT facilities

● Dedicated secure external facility, heated with ramp access for kit storage

● The building is fully DDA compliant, with lift access to the first floor
