Courses are run by Dr CA Roobottom (Radiologist) and Dr G Morgan-Hughes (Cardiologist). Both have been performing cardiac CT for over 5 years, are SCCT level 3 accredited and jointly have the largest Cardiac CT experience in the UK. Courses are run 6 times a year and are attended by delegates from all over the world. Both are performed with dedicated cardiac CT application specialists on dedicated workstations in the Peninsula Radiology Academy and are supplemented by clinical exposure including calcium scoring, retrospective scanning and prospective (low dose) scanning on state of the art equipment. Two levels are offered:
Level 1 Introduction to Cardiac CT: Three and a half day course focusing on angiogram acquisition, technique and indications. Three days of workstation experience with exposure to at least 50 cases. Includes live cases in the scanner.

Level 2 Advanced Cardiac CT: Four day courses targeted to specifically address SCCT accreditation numbers and covers at least 100 cardiac CT angiograms and 50 non-enhanced scans. All aspects of cardiac CT are covered including scanning in the acute situation, graft studies and grown-up congenital heart disease.
